Manglehorn

Manglehorn

Al Pacino is set to return to the big screen in Manglehorn - which has just been screened at the Venice Film Festival - and we have a new clip from the movie to share with you.

Manglehorn is just one of the film projects that we are going to be seeing the Oscar winner star in - the other is The Humbling - as he teams up with director David Gordon Green for the first time.

Green was back in the director's chair this summer with Joe, as he has moved away from the comedy work such as The Sitter and Pineapple Express, to tackle drama.

Check out Pacino in action in this brand new clip from the film:

Chris Messina, Holly Hunter, and Harmony Korine are just some of the other names that are on the cast list, but it really is all about Pacino, as he takes on the title role.

AJ Manglehorn is an aging, ordinary guy in a small town. He nurses his sick cat, squeezes out a conversation with the local bank teller every Friday, and eats at the same place every day.

But there is more to Manglehorn than meets the eye: he’s an ex-con who, 40 years ago, gave up the woman of his dreams for a big ‘job’.

He now obsesses daily over the choices he made. After a dramatic effort to start over, Manglehorn faces a terrifying moment and is unmasked as a guy with a very, very dark past.

Manglehorn has been met with at the Venice Film Festival, but no UK release date for the film has yet been announced.
