Martin Scorsese's 10 year old daughter is already following in his footsteps - after co-directing a short film with her friends.
Scorsese has already featured Francesca, his daughter with fifth wife Helen Morris, in small roles in films The Departed and The Aviator.
But the 67 year old admits she's more interested in working behind the camera like her dad.
He says, "Today (18Jan10) she's co-directing her first video with her friends.
"Apparently her (sic) and her friends (wrote) something called Ghostly Girls and (there's) a ghost at the end. (In the film) they throw pies at each other. But I said not in the house."
Scorsese returns to the director's chair later this year with his new movie Shutter Island, which reunites him with Leonardo DiCaprio.
It's the director's first feature movie since his Oscar winning picture The Departed, he did however release documentary Shine A Light.
