Mary Elizabeth Winstead has joined the cast list of The Cellar.
The Cellar will see Dan Trachtenberg make the leap to feature film for the first time: he has kicked off his career in TV and shorts.
John Goodman is already on board, and Variety has reported that Winstead is now on board the project as well.
The movie follows a woman finds herself in a cellar after waking up from a car accident. The man who is in the cellar with her tells her that the a nuclear attack has destroyed the world.
No official release date for the movie has yet been announced, but it is expected to hit the big screen in 2016.
As for Winstead, we are going to see her back on the big screen this autumn in Kill The Messenger: a film that sees her team up with Jeremy Renner.
She has also completed work on The Hollars and TV projects Quarry and Exposed.
The Hollars will see John Krasinski back in the director's chair, while Winstead will star alongside Anna Kendrick, Sharlto Copley, Charlie Day, and Richard Jenkins.
