Jordan played Johnny Storm - aka The Human Torch - in the much-derided comic book movie but despite the criticism the film attracted, Jordan would be prepared to step into his superhero suit again.

He told IGN: "I love the character. I'm a big comic book fan, and that's one of the reasons I wanted to do it in the first place. We'll see what happens. Johnny Storm is an incredible character. Why not?"

Jordan was surprised by the negative reaction to 'Fantastic Four' but he insists the cast and crew couldn't have worked any harder on the movie.

The actor - who is currently earning rave reviews for his performance as boxer 'Donnie' in 'Creed', in which he stars opposite Sylvester Stallone - said: "I think it was a big education for me to realise that things aren't in your control, and you can do everything you're supposed to do. You can give 110 per cent every day, and the movie still not work out. But that may or may not be on you and you've got to be OK with that."
