Michelle Pfeiffer has worked with both Robert De Niro & Al Pacino and says that she cannot compare the two.
Pfeiffer is back on the big screen this week in The Family, in which she plays the wife of a gangster - played by De Niro.
This is not the first time that she has played a mob boss' wife having starred in Scarface with Pacino. However she says that you cannot compare the two.
Speaking to BANG showbiz the actress said: "You can't compare the two, it's like apples and oranges. I never considered ['Scarface' character] Tony Montana as a Mafioso.
"But in terms of my relationship with [De Niro] in the film, he's my husband so I don't relate to him as a mobster, he's just somebody who won't listen to what I say and then misbehaves!"
The Family is the third film that Pfeiffer has starred in with De Niro, as both of them starred in New Year's Eve and Stardust.
However, this movie will mark the first time that they have shared screen time.
After the success of Scarface in 1984, Pfeiffer reunited with Pacino for Frankie and Johnny in 1992.
The Family marks the first big screen outing for Pfeiffer since People Like Us, but Man Under is in the pipeline.
The Family is out now.
