Set in April of 1980, 6 Days tells the story of how six armed gunmen stormed the Iranian Embassy in Princes Gate, London, taking 26 people hostage inside as they kicked off a tense six-day standoff. As highly-trained soldiers from the SAS prepared to raid the Embassy in something like the world had never seen before, twists and turns made this one of the world’s most talked-about dramatic events. Starring the likes of Jamie Bell, Mark Strong, Abbie Cornish and Martin Shaw, there are some high expectations surrounding 6 Days, but early reviews suggest this one is a mixed bag. We’ll have to wait and see for ourselves this November.
6 Days will premiere on Netflix in the UK on Friday, November 3 following its screening at this year’s BFI London Film Festival in October.
