Clint Eastwood is without a doubt one of the most iconic names in the world of entertainment, and he returns at the beginning of 2018 to tell the real-life story of three men who became heroes during a high-speed railway ride. Today (December 14), a brilliant trailer for that movie The 15:17 To Paris has been revealed, which you can check out below:

Anthony Sadler, US Air Force Airman First Class Spencer Stone and Oregon National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos make up the heroic trio in the film, and in an exciting move, all three of their real-life counterparts have taken on the roles in the movie.

The three were responsible for thwarting a planned terror attack on Thalys train #9364 which was bound for Paris, using their friendship as their most powerful weapon and saving the lives of more than 500 passengers on board the train.

The real-life heroes star alongside the likes of Jenna Fischer, Judy Greey, Ray Corasani, PJ Byrne, Tony Hale and Thomas Lennon, with Paul-Mikél Williams playing the younger Anthony, Bryce Gheisar playing the younger Alek and William Jennings playing the younger Spencer.

Eastwood sits in the director’s chair with a screenplay written by Dorothy Blyskal, based on the book of the same name by Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos, Spencer Stone and Jeffrey E. Stern. Clintwood also serves as producer alongside Tim Moore, Kristina Rivera and Jessica Meier, with Bruce Berman as executive producer.

Meanwhile, the creative team behind-the-scenes includes Tom Stern and Deborah Hopper, with editor Blu Murray and composer Christian Jacob. Kevin Ishioka also serves as production designer.

Whilst we don’t know yet whether this movie will be a critical success, it certainly seems to hold all of the right ingredients to become one of the most talked about releases of next year. We can’t wait to see how this one shakes out.

The 15:17 To Paris will hit cinemas across the UK on February 9, 2018.
