M. Night Shyamalan is ready to unite the two narratives he brought to the world from original movies Unbreakable (2000) and Split (2016) in his upcoming comic-book thriller Glass, set for release in 2019. With Bruce Willis returning as David Dunn, Samuel L. Jackson back as Elijah Price aka Mr. Glass, and James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb, there's a perfect recipe for complete chaos. Check out a new trailer for the film below:

Split star Anya Taylor-Joy will also be returning as Casey Cooke, alongside Unbreakable's Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard who will reprise their roles as Dunn's son and Price's mother respectively.

American Horror Story's Sarah Paulson joins proceedings in a new role as Dr. Ellie Staple, a woman who believes in science and who refuses to even entertain the thought that what these three men are going through is close to reality.

Of course, audiences know that those who don't believe will likely be forced to when they come into close contact with the unique personalities involved. Let's just hope Dr. Staple doesn't get too close to Crumb's 'Beast' personality...

Shyamalan not only directs the picture, but produces alongside Blumhouse Production's Jason Blum, who also produced the previous two films for Universal. Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock also produce, whilst Steven Schneider works as an executive producer.

Glass comes to cinemas across the UK on Friday, January 18, 2019.
