Dawn of Justice is one of the most anticipated films of 2016 and it is set to hit the big screen at the end of the month - it really looks set to be one of the biggest films of the year.

The movie will introduce us to Affleck's version of Batman for the first time as he takes over the role of Bruce Wayne from Christian Bale.

The actor says that he has enjoyed his time working with director Zack Snyder and screenwriter Chris Terrio, who penned the Argo screenplay.

Speaking to Screen Rant, the actor said: "Zack is an incredibly visual director. One thing that sometimes doesn't make sense will when it is turned on the monitor, it's sublime. It inspired me every day.

"And Chris is a pragmatic type who writes scripts for political thrillers. Their meeting was fruitful, they managed to create the perfect hybrid. This script is great, there was not a line to change in the dialogues. And I can tell you this is rare."

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the first time that we have seen Affleck on the big screen since the success of Gone Girl at the end of 2014. It is great to see him back and this is set to be one of the biggest movies of his career.

And we are going to be seeing a lot of Affleck this year as he has already completed work on Live by Night and The Accountant - he is also set to make a little cameo appearance in Suicide Squad in the summer.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is released 25th March.
