Five decades following their collaboration in the film Barefoot in the Park, Academy Award winners Jane Fonda and Robert Redford are reuniting once more for Netflix original film, Our Souls at Night. Check out a brilliant new trailer for the movie below:
Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Kent Haruf and adapted for the screen by Michael H. Weber (The Fault in Our Stars) and Scott Neustadter, Our Souls At Night is set in Colorado and follows the story of Addie Moore (Fonda) and Louis Waters (Redford); an older couple who find love in later life following the death of Addie and Louis’ spouses a few years back.
With their children living far away, they’re lonely in their big houses and so find sanctuary with one another. Seeking to establish a connection and hoping to make the most of the time they have left, Our Souls At Night looks to be one of the most heartwarming films of the year.
Bruce Dern, Matthias Schoenaerts, Judy Greer and Iain Armitage all also star.
Our Souls At Night comes to Netflix on September 29.
