Paul Bettany has revealed that he was keen to work with fellow actor Stephen Graham and had been looking for the right project for some time.
Bettany and Graham have teamed up for new movie Blood, which was released on Friday, in which they play brothers.
Speaking to Empire Bettany said: I’d been looking for something to do with Stephen Graham for years, for the very selfish reason that I think he’s one of our greatest actors.
“We met a thousand years ago, working on Inkheart, and really clicked.”
Blood sees Nick Murphy back in the director’s chair while Bettany and Graham are joined on the cast list by Mark Strong and Brian Cox.
And Bettany is keeping busy as he is currently filming Transcendence; which is the new film for Wally Pfister.
Johnny Depp, Morgan Freeman, Rebecca Hall and Cillian Murphy are all also on the cast list and the movie is set to hit the big screen next year.
