James Corden won't sing in new Paul Potts biopic 'One Chance'.

The actor is set to play the 'Britain's Got Talent' winner on the big screen in a movie documenting his rise to stardom, but he has revealed he will lip-synch during musical scenes while Potts himself will provide his character's operatic vocals.

He said: "It was very, very straightforward. I would pretend to be singing opera, and then Paul would go into the studio and loop to my mouth. I hope I haven't given it away too much, but that's basically what happened."

The biopic - which was directed by 'The Devil Wears Prada' helmer David Frankel - co-stars Julie Walters and Colm Meany as Potts' parents, Alexandra Roach as his wife Julie-Ann Cooper, and it's rumoured the film will also feature cameos from 'Britain's Got Talent' judges Simon Cowell, who is one of the film's producers, and Amanda Holden.

'I Knew You Were Trouble' hitmaker Taylor Swift revealed this week she has recorded a song for the movie's soundtrack, which will feature during the end credits.

She said: "It's amazing to be a part of this project. It's a movie that really moved me in a way that I haven't been moved in a long time, and to have just a small part in telling the story.

"I wrote the end credits song so it's the last thing you see of the story and I'm really, really honoured."
