Peter Dinklage says Bolivar Trask as a 'dark agenda' in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Dinklage returns to the big screen this week as one of the new faces on the Days of Future Past cast list.

This latest X-Men movie will see the character of Trask introduced for the first time, and he sees mutant as a 'threat'

Speaking to Flicks and Bits, the actor said: "He has a very dark agenda, but from his perspective he wants to save everyone - he wants to save humankind.

"He has a very skewed perspective on things. He has done his Darwinian homework and he feels like the mutants pose a huge threat to humankind as we know it, and he’s out to do something about it.

"The research that he’s done in terms of the evolutionary, Darwinian chain of events - he sees mutants as a threat to the world at large."

Days of Future Past sees Dinklage reunite with James McAvoy, while Michael Fassbender and Hugh Jackman are just some of the other names on the cast list.

Dinklage is currently enjoying huge success with the fourth season of Game of Thrones, but is working on new film Taxi.

Filming is currently underway on the project, and will see him team up with director Kerstin Ahlrichs.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is released 22nd May.
