Quentin Tarantino has confirmed he will continue to work on 'The Hateful Eight'.

Quentin Tarantino has confirmed he will pursue 'The Hateful Eight' after initially deciding to put it on hold following a script leak.

The Academy-Award winning director was forced to put the Western on hold after chunks of the script was leaked online in January, but he has now decided to go ahead with the movie, according to Deadline.com.

The 51-year-old star was furious after he found out someone had published the story on the web and was determined to find out who was behind the betrayal as he'd only lent the scrip to a small group of actors.

He said at the time: "I'm very, very depressed, I finished a script, a first draft, and I didn't mean to shoot it until next winter, a year from now. I gave it to six people, and apparently it's gotten out today."

Fans were hoping to see another Western from Tarantino following the success of 'Django Unchained' last year, but were left gutted when he said he would publish the story as a book and pursue other projects.

He said: "I don't know how these f**king agents work, but I'm not making this next. I'm going to publish it, and that's it for now. I give it out to six people, and if I can't trust them to that degree, then I have no desire to make it. I'll publish it. I'm done. I'll move on to the next thing. I've got 10 more where that came from."

However, he announced in April he was working on a new draft of the script and hoped to go ahead with the project at some point in the future.

It is now believed the movie could go into production as early as November.
