We are going to be seeing plenty of Meryl Streep on the big screen in 2015, and Ricki and the Flash is just one of the movies that she will be starring in... and she features in the first image from the film.

We will see Streep like we have never seen her before in Ricki and the Flash as she is set to take on a rocking guitarist and singer as she teams up with director Jonathan Demme.
Demme has been behind movies such as The Silence of the Lambs, Philadelphia, and Rachel Getting Married during his career, but this is his first film since A Master Builder back in 2013.
Streep will take on the role of Ricki in the film, and is joined on the cast list by Sebastian Stan, Kevin Kline, Mamie Gummer, and Audra McDonald.
In a film loaded with music and live performance, Streep stars as Ricki, a guitar heroine who gave up everything for her dream of rock-and-roll stardom, but is now returning home to make things right with her family.
Ricki and the Flash also marks the return of Diablo Cody. who is on script-writing duties - she has penned screenplays for Juno and Young Adult in recent years.
