Rosamund Pike

Rosamund Pike says that she is keen to work with Simon Pegg on future film projects.

Pike reunites with Pegg this week for new film Hector and the Search For Happiness: which sees them both work with director Peter Chelsom for the first time.

This is the second project for Pike & Pegg, and the actress is keen to continue to work with the actor.

Speaking to the Press Association, the actress said: "Simon and I have done two films together back to back, because we did The World's End which he wrote, and then straight onto [Hector And The Search For Happiness].

"It was bliss, because we were comfortable with each other, we were already friends. I think it added tremendous depth to Clara and Hector's relationship because we knew each other and I just think, 'God, why don't people do this all the time?'

"So now we're looking for something else to do together because we love working together."

Hector and the Search For Happiness is a big screen adaptation of the novel by François Lelord, and also stars Toni Collette, Stellan Skarsgård, and Christopher Plummer.

We are going to be seeing plenty of Pike on the big screen this year, as she has also completed work on What We Did On Our Holiday, Gone Girl & Return To Sender.

Hector and the Search For Happiness is out now.
