Are we going to see Sebastian Stan make an appearance in Black Panther?

Stan reprised the role of the Winter Solider earlier this year in Captain America: Civil War and it was unclear which movie he would appear in next by the end of this film.

The actor was at the Wizard World Comic Con in Philadelphia last weekend, where he was asked would he appear in the upcoming Black Panther film.

While Stan didn't give anything away, he also didn't rule out the possibility. He said: "I don't know, man. I mean, there's obviously a very clear answer, but I'm not going to maybe say it, now.

"Where did he end up at the end of the movie? That's the movie he should be in, I think. I feel like that would be the natural... but I don't know. I don't know anything."

Stan took on the role of Bucky Barnes for the first time in Captain America: The First Avenger before being introduced as The Winter Solider in 2014.

Civil War saw the actor reunite with Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, and Scarlett Johansson as they returned to the roles of Captain America, Falcon, and Black Widow in the latest Marvel film.

Stan and co have enjoyed huge box office success as Civil War has become the first film of 2016 to gross over $1 billion - it was also met well by the critics upon release.

Black Panther may not be released until 2018, but it is a Marvel film that fans are already excited about.

Black Panther was introduced in Civil War and Chadwick Boseman will be returning to the role while Ryan Coogler takes up the director's chair. This will be his first Marvel film and will follow on from the success he has had with Fruitvale Station and Creed.

Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong'o are also on board the project - there is no official word on their character just yet.

Black Panther is released 6th July 2018.
