Shailene Woodley has heaped praise on George Clooney.
The pair played father and daughter in the critically acclaimed The Descendants earlier this year - a movie that could be set for Oscar glory at the weekend.
The Descendants marked the biggest role of Woodley's career so far and she admits that she learnt from her more experienced co-star.
Speaking to ET Online the actress said: "George has taught me how to be a better human being on a lot of different levels, and I think ultimately that's what matters.
"He's obviously an extremely professional and incredible artist, but just from a human perspective he really has taught me to be a more compassionate, human being."
The Descendants is nominated for Best Picture this weekend and it is a two horse race for the gong with The Artist.
Clooney could also walk away with his first Best Actor Oscar as he has been nominated for his central performance.
