Paramount Pictures have this week released the infectious new trailer for their upcoming movie release Sherlock Gnomes, starring the likes of James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Maggie Smith, Michael Caine, Ashley Jensen, Matt Lucas, Stephen Merchant, Mary J. Blige and Johnny Depp in the all-star voice cast. You can check out the teaser below:
Starring the fan-favourite garden gnomes that made a name for themselves in the smash hit film Gnomeo And Juliet, the film will tell an all-new adventure in London, with both Gnomeo and Juliet hoping to get their garden ready for spring upon their arrival in the city. Unfortunately for the pair, they quickly come to realise that they may be in danger, as somebody is kidnapping garden gnomes from across the English capital.
Returning home, they find all of their friends missing and so have to call upon the skills of Sherlock Gnomes if they’re to stand a chance of bringing them back.
Setting out on an adventure with Sherlock, the gnomes will meet new faces and explore undiscovered parts of London, all whilst working together to ensure that their future, and that of their friends, is one they can enjoy.
Directed by John Stevenson and with Sir Elton John serving as executive producer, the film looks set to light up the box office when it makes its debut a little later this year. Sir Elton also provides the songs for the piece, with Chris Bacon working on the score. Ben Zazove, Kevin Cecil and Andy Riley wrote the screenplay, with David Furnish and Steve Hamilton Shaw producing.
Sherlock Gnomes comes to cinemas across the UK later this year, following a release of March 23, 2018 in the United States.
