Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to return to the Terminator franchise this summer with Terminator Genisys... where he is set to play the guardian of Sarah Connor.
The movie will see Schwarzenegger team up with Emilia Clarke, who is taking on the iconic role of Sarah Connor for the very first time.
The guardian comes to Sarah's rescue when she is a child and her parents are attacked - they form a father and daughter bond as he tries to keep her safe and make sure her future works out the way it is supposed to.

Terminator Genisys will see Schwarzenegger come face to face with his younger self while I am excited to see Clarke take over and put her own stamp on the role of Sarah - once again, she looks like she is going to be a strong female character.
A great cast has been assembled around them as Jai Courtney and Jason Clarke are on board as Kyle Reese and John Connor, while J.K. Simmons, Matt Smith, Courtney B. Vance and Byung-Hun Lee are all also on board.
When John Connor (Clarke), leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Clarke) and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline.
Now, Sgt. Reese finds himself in a new and unfamiliar version of the past, where he is faced with unlikely allies, including the Guardian (Schwarzenegger), dangerous new enemies, and an unexpected new mission: To reset the future...
Terminator Genisys is released 2nd July.
