Denzel Washington is set to return to the big screen as he leads an all-star cast in The Equalizer.
The Equalizer sees Washington reunite with director Antoine Fuqua: the pair worked together on the fantastic Training Day, which saw Washington win a Best actor Oscar.
The pair returns to the crime/thriller as Washington shows off his action man credentials once again.
He leads a fantastic cast, as he stars alongside Chloe Moretz, Marton Csokas, Bill Pullman and Melissa Leo.
The Equalizer tells the story of a former black ops commando who faked his death and is now living a quiet life and returns to action to rescue a prostitute from evil pimps.
His actions cause the Russian mob to send rogue CIA agents to kill him; he battles back against overwhelming odds, defeating them and becoming “The Equalizer.”
This is the first time that we have seen Washington on the big screen since 2 Guns last summer, and it is set to be his only film outing this year.
The Equalizer is released 10th October.
