The Imitation Game is already whipping up a storm after winning the People' Choice award at the Toronto International Film Festival at the weekend, and now the first post has arrived.

The Imitation Game is a movie that is already being tipped as a possible Oscar contender, as is a film that is not to be missed this autumn.

The movie is based on the book by Andrew Hodges and sees Morten Tyldum back in the director's chair; this is his first film since the success of Headhunters back in 2012.

Benedict Cumberbatch is on board in the central role of Alan Turing; the English mathematician who played a key role in cracking the Enigma code during the Second World War.

The Imitation Game boasts one of the most impressive cast lists of the autumn, as Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Mark Strong, and Charles Dance will all join Cumberbatch.

The Imitation Game will have the honour of opening the BFI London Film Festival at the beginning of October, and is set to be a real highlight of the festival.

The Imitation Game is released 14th November.
