Robert Pattinson has a series of exciting film projects coming up over the next twelve months or so, and The Rover is just one of them.

The Rover is set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival and sees David Michod return to the director’s chair for the first time since the fantastic Animal Kingdom: if you haven’t seen this movie then you really should check it out.

The Rover will see the filmmaker reunite with Guy Pearce, while he will be working with Pattinson for the first time. This is also the second feature film for Michod: Animal Kingdom was his debut back in 2011.

Pearce and Pattinson take on the central roles in the film, and feature in two fantastic character posters:

Scoot McNairy, David Field, Anthony Hayes and Gillian Jones all star alongside Pearce and Pattinson.

10 years following the collapse of society, a man will go to any lengths to take back the one thing that still matters to him.

The Rover is released 22nd August, and promises to be one of the summer movies that cannot be missed.
