The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel comes three years after the success of the first and see many of the cast's familiar faces - including Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy and Dev Patel - returning to reprise their roles.

The movie took a further £1.9 million over the weekend as it continues to charm audiences. The movie was never in danger of losing the top spot, despite their being a battle for the next four three spots.

Focus leap-frogged Fifty Shades of Grey this week as it moved up one places from three to two - it was the only movie on the up this week. It has been a good week for Fifty Shades of Grey as the movie surpassed the $500 million mark at the global box office.

However, the adaptation of the EL James novel slipped one place this weekend, as it fell from two to number three. Chappie was the highest new entry inside the top ten this week as the science fiction film opened at number four.

Chappie marks the return of Neill Blomkamp to the director's chair for the third feature film of his career, coming off the back of the success of District 9 and Elysium. The movie grossed just over £1 million this weekend, but was unable to crack the top three. Big Hero 6 fell one place from last week's number four to round off the top five.

Shaun the Sheep Movie and Kingsman: the Secret Service were also one-place fallers this week, as they dropped from five and six to six and seven. Kingsman: The Secret Service has so far grossed in excess of $249 million at the global box office and is another success for director Matthew Vaughn.

Still Alice is a movie that has had the critics raving because of the central performance from Juliann Moore; the film was finally released in the UK last week and opened at number eight. Moore plays a woman who is suffering from early onset Alzheimer's disease, and won a Best Actress Oscar for her terrific performance.

Unfinished Business was the third and final new entry inside this top ten this week, as the Vince Vaughn comedy opened at number nine. Horror film It Follows dropped two places from eight to this week's number ten.
