Tim Burton

Tim Burton is apparently giving some thought to directing a second Beetlejuice film.

There has been lots of talk of a Beetlejuice throughout 2013 but, according to The Wrap, the director has been invited to helm the film by Warner Bros.

Beetlejuice was released back in 1988 and was on the second feature film for Burton. He teamed up with Michael Keaton in the film: an actor he would reunite with for Batman a year later.

There has also been plenty of talk about Keaton returning to the title role in another film - whether Keaton is set to return is yet to be confirmed.

Burton's next project was set to be Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children, but he has walked away from that film.

Last year's stop motion animation film Frankenweenie was the last time that we saw Burton in the director's chair. He has since finished work on Big Eyes.

Big Eyes is set to a film about painter Margaret Keane: Oscar nominated actress Amy Adams is set to take on the role.

Christoph Waltz, Jason Schwartzman, Terence Stamp and Danny Huston are all also on board.

The movie is set to hit the big screen next year.
