When it comes to promoting the new Tomb Raider movie, with the brilliant Alicia Vikander in the leading role of Lara Croft, Warner Bros. aren’t messing around! This week, they released an addictive and sometimes truly challenging game you can play on your mobiles, tablets or desktops, and we’re able to host it below! Check it out:

As well as the game, a bunch of new images from the film have been released as well as a striking new poster, putting Vikander front-and-centre and showcasing the hero that cinemagoers will take into their hearts upon the movie’s debut this March.

You can check out the full selection of new images we’ve got our hands on, as well as the poster below:

In Tomb Raider, fans of the video game franchise will see Vikander step into the role of Lara Croft for the first time; a fiercely independent young woman who’s the daughter of an eccentric adventurer, who’s thought to have died following his disappearance years before the events of the film.

Never giving up hope, Croft will go against the wishes of those around her by embarking on an incredibly dangerous and challenging journey, taking her to his last-known destination; a mythical island off the coast of Japan, which hosts a fabled tomb and plenty of secrets.

With stakes at an all-time high and enemies lurking, hoping to take the courageous youngster down before she’s ever really given a chance to get going, Croft must rely on the sharp mind and faith, along with a little bit of her stubborn spirit if she’s to survive this adventure into unknown territory.

Primarly based on the critically-cclaimed 2013 video game of the same name, Tomb Raider will serve as a complete reboot of the movie series, and, if successful, could be the start of one of the industry’s biggest video game franchises. Let’s hope it can do the unthinkable and break the video game movie curse. We have high hopes!

Tomb Raider comes to cinemas across the UK on March 15, from Warner Bros. UK.
