X-Men: Days of Future Past

X-Men: Days of Future Past has broken through the $600 million mark at the global box office.

X-Men: Days of Future Past sees Bryan Singer to the director's chair, in what is his first X-Men movie since X2.

The film has already stormed to the top of the U.S. and UK box office, and it continues to perform well around the world.

Captain America is the highest grossing film of 2014 so far, taking $709 million world wide; The Amazing Spider Man 2 is just behind on $698 million.

However, it seems that Days of Future Past is closing in on them both, and could well end up being the most successful film this summer.

Days of Future Past is the sequel to X-Men: First Class, and sees Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult reprise their roles.

The film sees them team up with characters from the original franchise for the first time, as Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, and Halle Berry are also on board.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is out now.
