Zootropolis has now taken over $100 million in two weeks in the U.S. alone and is set to be another huge hit for Disney - this is the fifty fifth animation film for the studio.

10 Cloverfield Lane has been whipping up a storm ever since a surprise poster dropped earlier this year, and it was the highest new entry as it opened at number two.

10 Cloverfield Lane is being called a 'blood relative' rather than a sequel to Cloverfield and is a film project that has been surrounded in secrecy. There there has been a lot of demands for a sequel from fans, that fact that this film was on the verge of release came a surprise when the first poster was released before the Super Bowl.

Dan Trachtenberg makes his feature film directorial debut with the film, which took over $25 million at the weekend to take second place at the box office.

There was no move for Deadpool, as it stayed put at number three. Action film London Has Fallen was down two places this week at number four while Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was down one to round off the top five.

The second half of the chart was all about new entries this weekend as The Perfect March, The Young Messiah, and The Brothers Grimsby opened at six, seven, and number eight.

Gods of Egypt and Risen were both four place fallers this week - falling from five and six to nine and ten.
