Zootropolis

Zootropolis is the latest offering from Disney and their first film since the huge success of Big Hero 6 last yeas. Zootropolis is the fifty-fifth film from the animation giant and the first of two films that we will be treated to this year.

Zootropolis, which sees Byron Howard, Rich Moore, and Jared Bush in the director's chair, ended the reign of Deadpool and comfortably saw off the challenge from London Has Fallen.

London Has Fallen is the action sequel to Olympus Has Fallen and was the second highest new entry, opening at number two this weekend.

The movie sees Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart reprise their roles as Mike Banning and President Ben Asher. Morgan Freeman is another familiar face returning to the franchise.

Deadpool was a two place faller this week as it slipped to number three. War comedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, which marks the return of Tina Fey to the big screen, was the third and final new entry inside the top ten, as it entered the chart at number four.

Gods of Egypt slipped three places as it rounded off the top five. Risen fell out of the top five this week as it slipped two places to six.

Kung Fu Panda 3 was this week's biggest faller as the animation film fell from three to this week's number seven. The Revenant was the only film on the up as it jumped two places from ten to eight.

Eddie the Eagle slipped three to finish the weekend at number nine, while The Witch was also down three rounding off the top ten.
