Deadpool

Deadpool is already one of the most talked about 2016 films and we still have to wait until February for the film to hit the big screen.

Deadpool was the movie that caused the biggest stir at Comic Con in San Diego earlier this summer - the trailer was met with such a great response from the audience that they played it twice.

The first Deadpool trailer is one that really have been looking forward to - and now everyone who wasn't at Comic Con gets to see what all of the fuss is about as Ryan Reynolds kicks some ass in the title role.

For me, the new trailer doesn't disappoint as Deadpool promises to be a great mix of action, violence, and comedy. Check it out:

Reynolds first played the role of Wade Wilson back in 2009 in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and has been the driving force to get a solo movie to the big screen.

Filming is now finished on the movie and we are quite literally counting down the days until this film is released - I have my fingers tightly crossed that it lives up my very high expectations.

A terrific cast has been assembled for the film, as Reynolds is joined by Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, T.J. Miller, and Ed Skrein. Tim Miller is in the director's chair for the movie as he makes his feature film directorial debut with Deadpool.

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool.

Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humour, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

There are a whole host of superhero movies coming our way in 2016, and Deadpool is set to be the first cannot miss movie of the new year. I don't know about you, but I really cannot wait to see this movie!!!!

Deadpool is released 4th February 2016.
