Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, and Brad Pitt are four of the biggest names in Hollywood they have come together for the new drama, which is set around the housing bubble of the mid-2000s.

The Big Short is based on the book by Michael Lewis and marks the return of Adam McKay to the director's chair - he has also Charles Randolph to pen the script.

There's still a few weeks to go until The Big Short hits the big screen, but we have a great new extended clip to share with you, which sees Gosling trying to get his point across using Jenga. Check it out:

As if a cast list of Bale, Carell, Gosling, and Pitt was not exciting enough, they are joined by Marisa Tomei, Melissa Leo, Rafe Spall, Finn Wittrock, and Karen Gillan.

McKay has brought us movies such as Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and Step Brothers during his career and The Big Short is his first feature since Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. This is also the first time that he has moved away from comedy with a feature film.

The Big Short is released 22nd January 2016.
