The Conjuring
The Conjuring is one of the movies that we are really looking forward this summer as James Wan returns to the director's chair.
Wan is no stranger to the horror genre having brought us Insidious and Saw - but now he brings us a terrifying new film that is based on a true story.
In the latest trailer for the film we meet the family that The Conjuring is based on as they remember what happened to them:
James Wan is back in the director's chair for the first time since Insidious back in 2011 while Chad and Carey Hayes have penned the screenplay.
And a fantastic cast has been assembled as we see Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson team up to play Lorraine and Ed Warren; the paranormal investigates brought in to help the Perron family.
Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Mackenzie Foy, Shannon Kook and Joey King are all also on board.
The Conjuring tells the horrifying tale of how renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorised by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse.
Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
It has been a mixed bag for the horror genre so far this year but The Conjuring looks like it is going to be a movie that will have you on the edge of your seat.
The Conjuring is released 2nd August.
