2015 has already been another great year for animation and the autumn will bring us even more great films in this genre... including The Good Dinosaur.

The Good Dinosaur

The Good Dinosaur

The Good Dinosaur is one of the animation films that I have been looking forward to for a while as this is the first time that we will be treated to two Pixar movies in one year.

The Good Dinosaur is set to follow hot on the heels of the huge critical and commercial success of Inside Out and is set to be another heart-warming family treat.

There's still three weeks to go until the movie hits the big screen and we have a terrific new clip to share with you. 'Get through your fear' sees main character Arlo alongside his father:

Raymond Ochoa and Jeffrey Wright are set to voice the characters of Arlo and Poppa, and are joined by Steve Zahn, Anna Paquin, Sam Elliott, and Frances McDormand.

Meg LeFauve has penned the film's screenplay - she was part of the team that wrote Inside Out - while Peter Sohn is in the director's chair. While Sohn has worked as an animator on the likes of The Incredibles and Ratatouille and directed short film Partly Cloudy, this will be his feature film directorial debut.

The Good Dinosaur asks the question: What if the meteor that drove the dinosaurs to extinction missed the earth entirely?

This fun-filled journey of two unlikely heroes is one of ultimate friendship, as a dinosaur named Arlo and a feral boy named Spot learn the power of confronting their fears and, together, discover who they are truly meant to be.

You can count on Pixar for wonderful, family-friendly movies that are packed with charm and a lot of heart... it looks like The Good Dinosaur is going to continue that fine tradition. I really cannot wait to see what Pixar deliver this time around.

The Good Dinosaur is released 27th November.
