This autumn we will be saying goodbye to The Hunger Games franchise when The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 hits the big screen.

I don't know about you, but The Hunger Games series has been a terrific adaption of some great books and it looks like the fourth and final instalment is set to bring the franchise to a close with a bang.

A brand new teaser trailer has been released for the film and is shows a Panem at war and heroine Katniss Everdeen faces more danger and difficult choices than she has ever done before.

Katniss is one of the most iconic female film characters in recent years and it will be sad to see Jennifer Lawrence leave this character behind having given a series of terrific performances.

Once again, she is joined on the cast list by Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, Donald Sutherland, Elizabeth Banks, Jena Malone, Woody Harrelson, and Stanley Tucci.

We get another look at Natalie Dormer and Julianne Moore as Cressida and President Alma Coin, while we are introduced to Gwendoline Christie as Commander Lyme - she is the big new addition to this final instalment.

With the nation of Panem in a full-scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends - including Gale (Hemsworth), Finnick (Claflin), and Peeta (Hutcherson) - Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her.

The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

Mockingjay - Part 2 is set to be the biggest and most successful instalment yet and will bring the curtain down on this franchise with a bang. I have been looking forward to this movie ever since the credits on Mockingjay - Part 1 rolled and it looks like it will not disappoint.
