The Way, Way Back

The Way, Way Back

2013 is a busy year for Steve Carell already and he will be returning to the big screen this summer with The Way, Way Back.

Carell teams up with directors Nat Faxon and Jim Rash - the Oscar winning writers of the Descendants - who have also penned the screenplay.

And we have the brand new trailer for the film for you to take a look at:

The Way, Way Back brings together a fantastic cast as it blends well known names with up and coming stars.

Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Sam Rockwell, Amanda Peet and Maya Rudolph are all on board while we are introduced to the likes of Liam James and Zoe Levin.

The Way, Way Back is the funny and poignant coming of age story of 14-year-old Duncan’s (James) summer vacation with his mother, Pam (Collette), her overbearing boyfriend, Trent (Carell), and his daughter, Steph (Levin).

Having a rough time fitting in, Duncan finds an unexpected friend in Owen (Rockwell), the carefree manager of the Water Wizz water park.

Through his friendship with Owen, Duncan slowly opens up and begins to finally find his place in the world - all during a summer that will change his life.

If you are looking for a moving and poignant coming of age story then The Way, Way Back looks set to be the movie for you.
