The World's End

The World's End

There is just over a week to go and The World's End will finally be hitting the big screen.

It has been six years since we have seen Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and director Edgar Wright all work together; their last movie was Hot Fuzz back in 2007.

This will be a third movie project for Pegg, Frost and Wright after the trio have found huge success with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

And just to wet your appetite a little bit more with a series of fantastic clips from the film for you to enjoy:

Edgar Wright is back in the director's chair for the first time since Scott Pilgrim vs the World and has once again teamed up with Pegg to pen the screenplay.

Pegg is set to take on the role of Gary King; a man who brings together five friends to complete the pub crawl that they never finished years before.

But it is not just about Pegg, Frost and Wright as a fantastic cast has been brought together for the film.

Martin Freeman, Eddie Marsan and Paddy Considine make up the group of five friends - who are all quite reluctant to return to their home tome.

Rosamund Pike is the other big name to watch out for as she teams up with Pegg and Frost for the first time.

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again.

They are convinced to stage an encore by Gary King (Simon Pegg), a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub - The World’s End.

As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realise the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries

There are a whole host of British films to watch out for this summer and The World's End is set to be another not to miss.

Wright, Pegg and Frost make a fantastic team and it is good to see a movie of theirs back on the big screen.

The World's End is released 19th July.
