Tom Hardy has already enjoyed critical and commercial success so far this year and that is set to continue with Legend on the horizon.
Hardy's double performance as both Ronnie and Reggie Kray has already been winning over the critics and it is one of the autumn movies that I am looking forward to the most. We are big Hardy fans here at FemaleFirst and cannot wait to see him back in action.
We may have a bit of a wait until Legend hits the big screen but the brand new trailer for the movie has arrived. The trailer boasts a lot of footage of Ronnie and Reggie together and you can already see the terrific performance from Hardy as he creates two separate characters:
However, it is not all about Hardy as a terrific cast has been assembled around him with Emily Browning, David Thewlis, Taron Egerton and Christopher Eccleston also set to star.
Legend also marks the return of Brian Helgeland to the director's chair - he is also on writing duties and is no stranger to the gangster genre having penned L.A. Confidential. Legend is Helgeland's first directorial outing since biopic 42 back in 2013.
This will be the first time that the director has teamed up with Hardy and it is already clear that he has got a great performance out of the actor.

Hardy is one of the most exciting British actors working in film right now and is set to give another terrific performance in Legend.
