Pulp Fiction remains one of the best Quentin Tarantino movies and remains one of my favourites from the director.

Pulp Fiction

Pulp Fiction

Pulp Fiction hit the big screen back in 1994 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year - hard to believe that it really is twenty years since this movie hit the big screen.

Tarantino had made Reservoir Dogs prior to this movie, but it was Pulp Fiction that really put him on the map and resurrected John Travolta's acting career. We take a look at some of the most iconic moments from the movie - WARNING BAD LANGUAGE

- Royale With Cheese

Pulp Fiction saw Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson team up Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield - two mob hitmen.

This clip sees Vega explaining some of the biggest differences between the U.S. and Europe during his time there - including the legality of weed and what they call a quarter pounder with cheese.

- Ezekiel 25:17

Jackson gives a terrific performance in the film, but the Ezekiel 25:17/What Does Marsellus Wallace Look Like? is one of his finest moments.

Jules has an excellent memory for scripture, and this is one of Jackson's best and darkest moments as you see that he has a real dislike for the world that he lives in.

Not only is this one of Pulp Fiction's best scenes, it is one of the most iconic moments from Jackson's acting career.

- Pumpkin and Honey Bunny

"Any of you f***ing pricks move, and I'll execute every motherfucking last one of ya!" Is one of the film's most iconic lines, and is uttered by the very lovely Honey Bunny.

We are introduced to Honey Bunny and Pumpkin at the beginning of the film, when they decide to rob a diner.

This is a great introduction to these two smaller characters as well as great way to kick off this fantastic movie.

- Dancing At Jack Rabbit Slim's

Uma Thurman is another actor on board the movie as she takes on the role of Mrs Mia Wallace - wife of Marsellus Wallace.

Pop-culture references is something that Tarantino has become famous for over the years, and the Jack Rabbit Slim scene is another one of those moments.

Set in a 50s themed restaurant Thurman and Travolta show off their dancing 'skills' as to You Never Can Tell by Chuck Berry - this is just one of the great songs that are on the terrific soundtrack for the film.

- I Shot Marvin In The Face

As well as being an action packed film, Pulp Fiction is also a very funny film... and no scene is funnier than that when poor Marvin is shot in the face.

Poor Marvin gets it square in the face from Vincent when the gun accidentally goes off during a harmless conversation.

While this scene may have been the demise of Marvin, it does allow us to be introduced to the fantastic The Wolf - played by Harvey Keitel.

- Shot of Adrenaline

For those who feel a little faint around needles then the Mia Wallace overdose moment is perhaps one that you should look away from.

Vincent has been given the task of looking after Mia while Marsellus is out of town - only for her to almost overdose on heroin.

Needless to say, that wouldn't have looked all that great for Vincent, who must plunge a needle full of adrenaline into her heart to get her back.

Other great moments from the film include 'The Bonnie Situation', Zed's Dead, Captain Koons and Foot Massages.
