There is also plenty of buzz surrounding Parkland, as it is a film that follows the aftermath of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

The movie marks the directorial debut of Peter Landesman - he has also penned the screenplay = and sees Zac Efron, Marcia Gay Harden, Billy Bob Thornton and Paul Giamatti just some of the names on a fantastic cast list.

Parkland weaves together the perspectives of a handful of ordinary individuals suddenly thrust into extraordinary circumstances.

The film follows the young doctors and nurses at Parkland Hospital; Dallas’ chief of the Secret Service; an unwitting cameraman who captured what became the most watched and examined film in history; the FBI agents who nearly had the gunman within their grasp; the brother of assassin Lee Harvey Oswald, left to deal with his shattered family; and JFK’s security team, witnesses to both the President’s death and Vice President Lyndon Johnson’s rise to power over a nation whose innocence was forever altered.

Here is another chance to check out the first trailer for this fascinating political thriller:

- Muscle Shoals Trailer - released 25th October.

2013 has already been a fantastic year if you are a documentary film fan, and that success looks set to continue into the autumn.

Muscle Shoals is one of the standout films in this genre as director Greg ‘Freddy’ Camalier tells the story of this part of America that has influenced some of music’s biggest names.

Located alongside the Tennessee River, Muscle Shoals, Alabama is the unlikely breeding ground for some of America's most creative and defiant music.

Under the spiritual influence of the "Singing River" as Native Americans called it, the music of Muscle Shoals has helped create some of the most important and resonant songs of all time.

At its heart is Rick Hall who founded FAME Studios. Overcoming crushing poverty and staggering tragedies, he brought black and white together in Alabama's cauldron of racial hostility to create music for the generations.

Check out the brand new trailer for this fascinating delve into music history:

- Sunshine On Leith

Dexter Fletcher made the move into the director’s chair last year with the fantastic Wild Bill, and now he is back with this second movie Sunshine On Leith.

This time around he tackle a musical project as he brings Stephen Greenhorn’s much loved stage show to the big screen; Greenhorn himself has adapted the show into a screenplay.

Sunshine on Leith is a jubilant, heartfelt musical about the power of home, the hearth, family and love.

It is the tale of one tight-knit family, and the three couples bound to it, as they experience the joys and heartache that punctuate all relationships. And they do it all while singing to the euphoric music of The Proclaimers.

Here is the first trailer for the film - which looks set to one of the most uplifting films of the autumn.

Sunshine On Leith is released 4th October.
