Transformers 4: Autobots Redesigned

Transformers 4 is set to be one of the biggest movies of 2014 as director Michael Bay is set to take the franchise in a new direction.

Transformers is already a billion dollar franchise with the release of three hugely successful films... and that success looks set to continue even further.

Filming is just getting underway on the blockbuster and Bay has revealed the redesign for some of the Autobots.

Characters such as Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are back but we are also going to get some new Autobot characters - and Michael Bay has revealed some images on his blog.

We are not only being treated to new Autobots but we have a completely new cast list as Mark Wahlberg takes over the lead role.

The Oscar nominated actor is set to take on the central role of Flynn Vincent in the franchise for the first time.

Nicola Peltz, T.J. Miller, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer are all also on board.

But it isn't completely all change as Peter Cullen will once again return to voice Optimus Prime.

At the end of Transformers: Dark of the Moon it was believed that Bay would be leaving the franchise behind, but he is back in the director's chair for a fourth time. Ehren Kruger is also back as he has penned the screenplay for the new film.

-As humanity picks up the pieces, following the conclusion of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet.

However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control - all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs.

The epic adventure and battle between good and evil, freedom and enslavement ensues.-

2013's summer of cinema has only just got underway but we are already excited about what is on the horizon this time next year... and this new Transformers movie promises to be one not to miss. Have we got another billion dollar movie on our hands?
