Neil Set For Motley Crue Dates After Prison Release

Rocker Vince Neil has a string of Motley Crue dates to look forward to when he's released from prison later this month (Feb11) - including one that will take him to Argentina.

The frontman has been ordered to surrender to officials in Las Vegas on 15 February (11) and serve a 15-day sentence on a DUI charge - but he's already making travel plans for when he's a free man.

Motley Crue will perform at Estadio Cubierto Malvinas Argentinas in Buenos Aires on 19 and 20 May (11).

The group will also be among the artists performing at the Bamboozle festival in New Jersey on 29 April (11) - and they're heading to Mexico for three dates in May (11).

Talking about his DUI shame, Neil recently told People.com, "I made a mistake, and I have to finally learn my lesson and go do a little bit of time. I've already learned my lesson. I just have to move on and get past it and get it behind me."

Slash Would Consider Guns N' Roses Reunion If Rose Apologised

Guitar Legend Slash has laid down the ground rules to a Guns N' Roses reunion but insists his former bandmate Axl Rose will have to make the first move and apologise.

Slash and Duff McKagan quit the group in the 1990s after falling out with Rose, and they went on to form their own band, Velvet Revolver.

Bassist McKagan recently made amends with the singer and joined him onstage in London in October (10), but Slash has yet to reconcile with Rose.

And he insists a reunion featuring the original Guns N' Roses line-up will never happen unless Rose approached him first.

Slash says, "That would be a call I would be surprised to get. If that really happened, I would have to clean out my junk drawer, too, but I don't see it happening. But, if it did happen, I would do whatever it takes to at least have a conversation about it."

Durst Set For Rubbish Honour

Rocker Fred Durst is set for a bizarre new honour after leading a new poll to rename a Texas trash department.

Officials at the Solid Waste Services Department in Austin, Texas asked locals to vote for a more interesting name - and the Limp Bizkit frontman is leading the pack.

As a result the department looks set to be revamped as the Fred Durst Society of the Humanities and Arts.

Durst's candidacy has attracted over 11,000 votes. His nearest competition has attracted less than 1,000.

The new name will be confirmed and announced in April (11).

Doherty Quizzed By Death Probe Cops

Rocker Pete Doherty has been quizzed by cops probing the death of a man following a party attended by the star.

Mark Blanco plunged to his death from the balcony of an apartment in east London in December 2006, minutes after he was ejected from the bash for harassing the Libertines frontman.

Cops initially ruled the tragedy was not suspicious, but they re-opened the inquiry in December (10) following pressure from Blanco's mother.

Doherty has since visited a police station voluntarily to speak to officers about the incident.

The rocker's solicitor Sean Curran says, "He did attend a police station to help them with their inquiries, but he attended voluntarily."

A Scotland Yard spokesman confirmed the probe into Blanco's death is ongoing.
