Sebastien Tellier, author of 2005's tear-jerking classic, 'La Ritournelle', returns with ‘Sexual Sportswear’, the first release from his forthcoming studio album ‘Sexuality’.Now, even more than ever, he's the one true artist who clearly connects the vanguard of France's modern generations of musical magicians, from Gainsbourg to Air (he was initially discovered as a member of their classic 2000 band), through Mr.Oizo (Seb was co-writer and performer on the electro-classical club anthem 'Stunt' and contributor to the forthcoming Steak OST) and the new electronic Ed Banger exporters, of whom, Tellier's near-namesake, SebastiAn contributes a sensually smooth remake to illicit disco fever. The gel which joins are the genial pioneers, Daft Punk, one half of which, Guy Manuel De Homem-Christo, has produced this and the seminal new album, 'Sexuality' of which this single will be the first fruits, pressed on to pink 12" vinyl and limited to just 500 copies for the UK.‘Sexuality’ will be Sebastien’s third studio album following 2005’s ‘Politics’, & 2001’s ‘L’Incroyable Vérité ’. Despite it's instrumentalism 'Sexual Sportswear' gives clear indication of the emotional delivery that separates Tellier from his peers and awaits us on the forthcoming full-length which will be released February 2008. It is Tellier’s musical statement for love making: simple, emotional, hypnotic.The single is available as a strictly limited, pink vinyl packaged, twelve inch vinyl and a not so lovingly packaged download.
