Jay Sean Scraps London Gig

Jay Sean cancelled a show at historic London landmark Trafalgar Square on Sunday over safety fears about the size of the crowd.

The 29 year old's planned concert was heavily publicised on social networking sites and thousands were expected to descend on the site in the U.K. capital Organisers decided to pull the gig just hours before it started over fears for the wellbeing of the audience - and Jay Sean has apologised to his fans for the last minute decision.

He says, "This was such a great opportunity for me to meet my fans before I fly back to the States... I'm really sorry to have disappointed my fans, but I also have to consider and pay due respect to the organisers, who must put the safety of the visitors first."
