Katy Perry Cancels Live Shows

Katy Perry has apologised to fans in Italy after she was forced to cancel a show due to illness.

The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker is currently on tour in Europe, but had to pull out of a scheduled concert in Milan earlier this week when she fell sick with a bout of influenza.

In a post on her Twitter page, Perry says, "To my Milan fans, so sorry the flu hit me here in ur (sic) beautiful city. I'll make it up to you, promise. Looking for reschedule date now."

The singer has since moved on to Barcelona, Spain - where she is due to perform at the U18 Festival on Thursday - but she is still struggling with ill health and has updated her MySpace.com page to read, "Sick in Spain."
