She's become so loved since her time on I'm A Celebrity, and last month Ashley Roberts travelled to Saint Lucia for the much-celebrated Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival.

Here, she tells FemaleFirst all about the trip, the experience she had and more.

On her morning routine:

We stayed at the St James’ Club, Morgan Bay resort which is a vibrant, colourful, and casual all-inclusive Saint Lucia resort. We had breakfast there each morning which over-looked the beach. It was the perfect way to start each day.

On her choice of outfits:

Deciding what to wear was pretty easy as the weather was so beautiful. Even in the evenings, the weather was still warm so I didn’t have to wear too many layers. I always like to wear items that are sexy but comfortable, especially if there is dancing involved.

On travelling to St. Lucia:

Travelling to Saint Lucia is incredibly easy. We flew direct with British Airways and it took 8 hours. I watched Mandela which was incredibly emotional but countered this by watching Anchorman 2 for some light-hearted relief.

On St. Lucia's atmosphere:

The atmosphere in St Lucia is incredibly friendly and I always felt very safe and looked after. There is so much more to do than simply sit and get a tan (which we also did!). The island has some of the most stunning scenery.

One of the most unforgettable moments of the trip was when we travelled down the beautiful west coast line to Soufriere in the south on a catamaran. Once the boat arrived, we were taken on a buggy island tour which was so much fun. We were able to stop off and see one of the world’s few drive-in volcanoes, bathe in a mud bath at the Sulphur Springs and have a truly exhilarating experience at the Toraille Waterfalls. The pressure from the waterfall on your back was better than any power shower!

On the experience at the festival:

We attended The Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts festival which was electric. This was my first time to the festival but I would love to go again. We saw a lot of artists such as P Square and Elvis Crespo that I hadn’t heard of before but was very impressed by the energy and presence that they brought to the stage. The Commodores and Maxwell were also incredible. The festival is set against the backdrop of the iconic Pigeon Island which adds to the whole experience.
