Taylor Swift will this year headline BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend.
The singer's the first act confirmed for the annual festival, which will this year take place at Earlham Park in Norwich, south east England.
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw about her excitement over attending the event for the first time, she said: "Everyone talks about the festivals in England being the best ones you can go to. I feel like I've been missing out - I'm really excited."
She also said she's excited to experience the Norwich crowds, as UK audiences are usually "insane".
"They are rowdy, insane, in the best way - there seems to be a lot of jumping, which I love."
Taylor will take to the stage on Sunday, May 24, and all other acts have still been kept secret.
Last year's event saw Katy Perry, One Direction and Coldplay amongst the high-profile performers, taking place in Glasgow, Scotland.
