The Fray

The Fray

Rock piano band The Fray gave Christian Rock some cool points in 2006 when they appeared on the airwaves with their single “How to save a life”.

Their stunning melodic treat was sampled on just about every medical drama soundtrack in the business alongside its share of angsty teen dramas and their penchant for weepy piano rock ballads launched them into mainstream success and into the ears of teens, mums and dads everywhere.

Their other stand-out track ‘Over my head’ was used in the soundtrack for the film Stealth but missed out on a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance to Black Eyed Peas’ My Humps. Even so, we still love these guys and voted them as our top band for 2006.
