It doesn’t seem like over a year since this song was released now does it? I mean, it’s still playing on the Indie Club circuit even now, and I reckon it’s the new ‘Mr Brightside’ of the drunken masses.
As the first single to be taken from the bands fourth (yes FOURTH) studio album, it still doesn’t show any sign of going away anytime soon - as of September 2009 it became the second most-downloaded digital single ever in the United Kingdom.
It gave the band their first UK number one, and opened the door for the band to become a massive deal in around the world, especially since it took the topspot through digital downloads alone.
And the band members aren’t too bad to look at either….
