So once again we�re baffled by the extensive list of nominees for the annual round of back-slapping and champagne that comes with the awards season as we think, �how the hell did that get a nomination� despite the fact we�re supposed to be proud of our musical offerings where we smile and show the finger to the US music scene as we pay homage to our own �fabulous� acts.

Why then, you might wonder, are Duffy and Coldplay dominating the whole shebang? In order to bring some light relief to this year�s proceedings, your favourite music commentator (that would be me) has made her predictions on who I think should take home that wonderful little statue.
