Manic Street Preachers producer Dave Eringa and Razorlight manager Roger Morton are poised and ready to offer advice to bands on bagging a record deal today at 2pm.
Some of the most successful bands start out in the most humble of ways. The Manic Street Preachers held after school rehearsals in Blackwood. Coldplay met at university. Razorlight formed through a chance advert in a music magazine and The Arctic Monkeys discussed musical direction on a playground in the outskirts of Sheffield.
Yet making it in the music industry requires talent, dedication and being in the right place at the right time. That said, you can’t make it big in music unless somebody discovers you first…
If anyone knows anything about making a band successful, it’s music moguls Dave Eringa, producer for The Manic Street Preachers and Razorlight Manager, Roger Morton, who are both involved in the Intel Studio Talent Competition, the first no-holds barred unsigned talent competition.
Having worked with some of the most successful bands in music history including The Manic Street Preachers, Idlewild, Razorlight, 3 Colours Red and the Libertines, Dave and Roger know what it really takes to get noticed and will are joining us for an exclusive webchat to answer all your questions live in the studio.
They will also be offering artists of all genres the chance to win a money-can’t-buy record deal through the new Intel unsigned talent competition and give them advice on how to make it in the cutthroat music business.
